BCSRC Training Grounds

The BCSRC is happy to announce we now have two very good grounds for our members to use for training their dogs. These grounds are leased by landowners who also use their property for other purposes so we must abide by their rules in order to maintain our continued use. ALL MEMBERS PLANNING TO USE EITHER OF THE GROUNDS MUST DOWNLOAD AND SIGN THE TRAINING GROUNDS AGREEMENT and submit to the BCSRC PO Box or Club Secretary.

Below you will find more info about the specifics of both properties.
Ridgewood Kennels is located between Navasota and Plantersville off SH 105. The Walnut Hill grounds is located off HWY 60 west of BCS and just east of Snook, TX.

Ridgewood Kennels

Owner: Michelle McHale 936-419-1003

Here is a map

Ridgewood Kennels hosts some of the finest technical training ponds in the state. It is located on 15 acres just outside Plantersville, TX in the small community of Stoneham. It is owned and maintained by BCSRC Lifetime Member Michelle McHale and her son David in memory of her beloved husband and his father Pat. Through the years both Pat and Michelle have been very active members in the BCSRC and were some of the original members. Pat is surely gleaming with joy knowing his hard work is being utilized by BCSRC members for a sport that he so dearly loved. If you knew Pat you you can see his big smile while getting a nice firm hand shake or a big hug, followed by "Hi, I'm Pat McHale!". Seems everyone across the country knew Pat McHale.

Please understand, there are restrictions with use of this property. Michelle and her family have to be assured that people and vehicles on their property have permission to be there. BCSRC is providing yearly mirror hang tags to our members that must be displayed for easy Identification.
